One of the world's most unique and beautiful airports. This version represents the airport in a more realistic version than the previous. It includes new roof textures,
trees, vegitation, a virtual airline hangar, base, offices, new ramp lighting, and an Afcad2 file which smoothly overlays the errors of the default FS2004 program, and relates to this scenery. There were several changes made to the second version, which warrant this whole new scenery as version 3. Kona is the second largest airport besides Honolulu in the Hawaiian Islands, and can accommodate the largest jet airliners. It would be best to delete any previous versions of this area before installing this scenery. The lava fields which this airport was built on are also represented here.
1. Extract the zip into your main FS2004 Addon Scenery folder, or into a temporary folder, and then move it there, which ever method you prefer.
2. Start up FS2004 and when the welcome screen, or initial menu comes on, select settings, then click on Scenery Library, and Add Area. Find the Addon Scenery folder and open it, then find the KonaV3 folder and click on it. The name KonaV3 should now appear in the title window, then click OK. Then you will see KonaV3 at the top of your scenery library list, and click the OK tab at the bottom.
3. That's it! You must first exit FS2004, and when you restart it your scenery will be there. It is not necessary to use the Addon Scenery option to locate this scenery, simply go to the airport in FS.
This scenery is freeware, and may not be used in whole or part for profit. It may not be duplicated or altered in any form from the original except by the author. Since the upload proceedure is very time consuming, I can only upload to a few sites. If you wish to upload this scenery to your site, feel free as long as the site is flight sim related, and there is no charge for using the site or the scenery, including membership dues in order to download the files at will.
